I started working as a DJ in 1990 when I became resident of “Club Luna” in Mallorca, Spain. From that moment on, my interest in music changed radically and I started mixing music but also producing and remixing; which led me to my current professional situation as a Dj, producer and remixer. The music I mix includes a wide range of new music tendencies always related to House music. I try to combine the brand new releases with the old school and dance floor classics. The evolution of my sets include deep house, garage, underground, afro, disco … always trying to find the cool side of each style without forgetting the most important thing: that people must never stop dancing. At the time when I started DJing I also became interested in production and in 1992 I collaborated with local artists as a remixer and I also produced music for local television programs. My first record “Elements Inc” was released in November 1997 by Max Music. Since the opening and over the last 9 years until it closed for changing the name I’ve been responsible for the DJ booth and DJ bookings at Pacha Palma de Mallorca, the resident DJ of the club and also the promoter of Sunday sessions and in charge of the summer parties called "Session de Luxe". On these parties I had the great pleasure of having DJ guests such: Erick Morillo, Boris Dlugosch, Jamie Lewis, DJ Vibe, Smokin' Jo, Brian Tappert, Sandy Rivera, Dj Spen, Rulers Of The Deep, DJ Pippi and the top DJs of the Spanish House scene. For 5 years I produced a 2 hour radio show at Flaix FM 100.6. On this program I played the last releases of House Music and eventually interviewed top Dj’s who mixed at Pacha. I also collaborated with some local music magazines as well as international magazines in which I included my charts (DJ mag, Discoid, etc.). In August 2000 and until the end of 2003 , I started in Mallorca my own record label, called "Flamingo Discos". My first self produced record "Ritmo Para Voce" was released in August of 2001 and distributed by "Peppermint Jam Distribution", which gave me a great exposure and got me respect in the House world scene. In September 2001 I released my first CD compilation tittled “The Latin Sound of Pacha” in a collaboration with Tommy Boy UK and Pacha Group. The tracklisting is a collection of the best house tracks with latin and brazilian music influences, and was greatly reviewed on the best international dance magazines such Dj Mag, Mix Mag, Ministry, 7 mag., Blues & Soul, Raveline, etc. The release of this album allowed me to introduce it live in venues such as Pacha Ibiza, Pacha Mallorca and Cargo London. Starting August 2002 and till its closure, as a house music club, last summer 2006 I was the resident Dj of the hip club in Palma de Mallorca: “Club 113”. In Sept. 2004 I started as a quarterly resident at the famous Ben Watt club “Neighbourhood”, based in West London at the parties “One Starry Night”. In May 2004 was released the Pacha cd compilation in association with Renaissance UK titled “Renaissance presents Pacha Ibiza”, a triple mixed cd. I selected and mixed the cd 2 “The Afroterraneo Mix” including the best from my dj box, a clear sample of what I like to do on my live dj sets. The compilation was Album of the month on the Dj Mag Uk Magazine, and has got very good reactions from all around the world. I have a new radioshow called “Perceptions” every tuesday from 8 to 10 pm. broadcasted all over spain on Loca FM www.locafm.com, and every Thursday from 9 to 11pm on Danza fm in Valencia www.grupwandu.com . This program has been nominated 3 times as best radioshow by Spanish magazine Deejaymag. My first artist album titled “Perceptions” was realeased on Pacha Ibiza Recordings in January 2007, a double Cd which includes new 14 tracks on Cd 1 and remixes of some tracks on Cd 2 by djs and producers such as Dj Spen, Kerri Chandler, Spen, Jimpster, Afromystik, Dj Fudge and many others… The album has been licensed to 3 different labels: Swank Recordings (USA and Canada), Grand Gallery Rec. (japan) and World Club Music (Russia) covering the distribution and promotion all over the world. In 2008 I have been worked for Ducati-Marlboro Moto Gp team, being the official Dj and music manager of their lounge at the VIP Village based in the racing circuits. I was touring with the team and played in Barcelona, Chec Republic, Italy, Malaysia and Valencia. This year 2009 I will do the same work again adding new cities to the tour like Japan and Hungry. Since October 2008 and after playing lots of times Im official Pacha Ibiza Resident dj, playing there once a month. During 2009 will be released my new album-cd project titled” Ocho” which includes new unreleased mixes of some of my old productions, new tracks and new remixes I have done for different artists, the label and release date is at the moment to be confirm.
