Groundbreaking and bursting with innovation, DJ and producer Jonathan Ulysses has a deep and diverse career which spans over 20 years. This heavy weight and legendary DJ is a force to be reckoned with. 2010 marks his eleventh year as resident at Ibiza's prestigious super-club 'Space' and his trademark up tempo, driving, electronic, pumping house style sees him spinning week in, week out at the worlds leading nightclubs. DJ appearances on every continent have given Jonathan a huge global and truly loyal fan base. He now sits comfortably and quite rightly amongst dance music's most elite DJs. Jon has compiled copious compilations working closely with high tech labels including Ministry, UMM, Destined, DJ Center and Klubstar to name a few. June 2010 (for the third year in succession) sees release of 'Ibiza Opening Party' downloadable exclusively through i-tunes and UMM. He has also mixed three of the highly acclaimed Space, Ibiza Dance compilations, and 'Gateway to Ibiza' in association with MTV and no less than eight 'In Bed With Space' compilations over the years amongst countless others. Jon's own creation, his 'Ulybug' brand has been steadily expanding since it�s launch in 2008. The uber cool 'Ulybug' brand (logo is a red, yellow & green beetle with dreadlocks designed to represent strength & power) kicked off with parties & a clothing range that took Ibiza by storm. The latter part of 2010 keep your eyes peeled for the imminent launch of a 'Ulybug Music' label and the unveiling of a brand new 'Ulybug' website to run parallel and alongside to his already flourishing www.jonathanulysses.com site. Jon is now hosting his trademark 'Ulybug' parties in clubs around the world at venues including Honey Club (Brighton), Hanger 11 (Tel Aviv), Herbal (London) Chi (Dubai) Byblos (Glasgow) Mynt (Belfast) and Pacha (Munich). Jon's ambitions of course lie beyond the confines of just clubs and production consumes a huge slice of his time. As his track list expands weekly, he distributes his talents in studios worldwide, working with top notch producers including Tom Neville, Prok & Fitch, Matt Schwartz (Destined), Peter Brown, Reza, Steve Haines, Filthy Rich & Richard Grey. 2010 shows no signs of easing up on the production front, with no less than 5 new tracks waiting in the wings, Jon maintains his relationship with label giant 'Big In Ibiza' who have recently released 2 of these, 'Baila' (produced with Reza) & Brazillia (co-produced with Steve Haines).� The sound is influenced by his tours of South America. Jon embarks on his second collaboration in as many years under sudo guise 'Union Jackers' (with duo Prok & Fitch & Filthy Rich) and August 2010 is gearing up for the release on Toolrooms of 'Yambo'. Labels he has worked with include Toolrooms, Big In Ibiza, Asume, Dowalve, Oxyd, UMM, Destined, Arts n Krafts, Lowered Recordings, Cyber, Nukluez and Azuli. He is no stranger to radio and has been featured doing mixes for Pete Tong's Radio One Essential Selection and also interviewed conducting an experience of Ibiza. He has made countless appearances on Kiss 100, Ministry of Sound, Galaxy and Solar. His mixes have featured on numerous radio stations around the world. 2010 dates to look forward to include his July bookings with the famous 'Music On Board' Festival 2010 taking in various destinations in South America & an �MTV Party at Puro (Berlin) in August.
